NEW YORK, NY (April 19, 2012) — Holly Munter Koenig, vice president at Kellen Company, a global professional services firm, received the Distinguished Service Award at the 2012 Synergy Awards Luncheon hosted by the New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) on April 18th at the Double Tree Metropolitan Hotel in New York City. The Synergy Awards honor the best of the association and not-for-profit community.
Koenig has been a volunteer member of NYSAE since 1990 and currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee and facilitator of the Marketing & Communications Shared Interest Group. In 2010, Koenig was honored by NYSAE with the Outstanding Association Executive Award.
At Kellen Company since 1987, Koenig currently serves as the executive director of the Home Fashion Products Association (HFPA) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), New York City Chapter. She also provides executive oversight for other Kellen Company client associations and professional societies, including New York Women in Communications (NYWICI) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), New York Chapter.

Koenig lives in West Jericho, NY with her husband Andrew, and daughter, Lauren, a 6th grader at Jericho Middle School.
