NEW YORK, NY (March 27, 2015) – Kellen Company, a global leader in association services, participated in the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) 2015 Great Ideas Asia-Pacific, ASAE’s first conference outside of North America. Dani Kolb, Manager, Kellen Europe and Steven Basart, Manager, Kellen China, were part of an educational panel at the conference that took place March 22-24 in Hong Kong.
The session, entitled “Global Perspectives”, discussed how associations are thriving around the world, growing, and expanding their roles in each region. Kolb, who is also chair of ASAE’s International Section Council, led the discussion of prominent panelists, including Alessandro Cortese, CEO of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO); Susan Neely, President and CEO of the American Beverage Association and Chair of ASAE’s Board of Directors; and Steven Basart, Manager China of Kellen Company.

Kolb, Basart and the other panelists shared strategies on how associations can thrive in each region’s business environment as well as key information on what associations need to know to succeed.
“There is more opportunity than ever for associations to broaden their reach globally and expand into new territories,” said Kolb, who represents Kellen client, the Association of European Candle Makers. “Knowing the market you want to enter with your association, taking a critical look at the issues – challenges and prospects alike – is essential for groups to thrive.”
