NEW YORK (April 22, 2015) – Kellen, host of the annual Associations: 2020 and Beyond conference, today announces the lineup for the event’s Executive Panel Discussion, moderated by Jeffrey Hayzlett, a marketing, business and public relations expert and the host of Bloomberg’s C-Suite TV.
Held on Thursday, June 4th at the Apella Event Space in New York City, the panel discussion will bring together three top association executives to explore how leading associations are using networks to raise awareness, advance their mission and grow revenue.
“Associations are built on networks, which is why it’s incredibly important for association leaders to understand how networks have changed, and how these changes are impacting their organizations in a variety of ways,” said Peter Rush, CEO of Kellen. “We look forward to hearing insights from our panelists and learning how associations can capitalize on these changes to have a positive effect on their membership and mission.”
The Executive Panel discussion will explore the biggest challenges facing associations today, including economic and policy threats and how groups are tailoring their products to ensure an attractive return on investment. Panelists include Karen Chupka, senior vice president of the International Consumer Electronics Show and corporate business strategy for the Consumer Electronics Association; Louis Coletti, president and CEO of the Building Trades Employers’ Association; and Mary Roth, executive director for the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
The conference will conclude with a keynote presentation by Arianna Huffington, the chair, president and editor-in-chief of Huffington Post Media Group. In addition, attendees will have the option to join one of two breakout sessions following the panel discussion: Advocating for Your Industry’s Cause, facilitated by Bracewell & Giuliani, and Understanding and Communicating with Your Membership Segments.
Association CEOs, senior leadership and board members are invited to attend the conference, which received an outpouring of positive feedback from the industry in its first year. Space is limited. To register, or to find out more about the event, visit www.kellenconference.com.
