A professional society serving the technology industry engaged Kellen to develop and execute a membership marketing campaign that would double its membership over a four year period.
Kellen developed a program that focused on the value of the field’s work, promoting the society as the champion for the field and practitioners. Key markets were identified along with targeted messaging for each group. A multi-tiered marketing program was then launched, communicating the value of the organization across multiple channels. Public relations tools, including an annual report, were developed to support the program. Additional online courses were developed and promoted in areas identified as having high market potential.
By better understanding their member’s needs and targeting programs and communications, Kellen was able to double the organization’s membership over a four year period. With an enhanced program offering, the society continues to benefit from a growing membership base and increased engagement.
