Whether it’s a new business pitch, a Board meeting or even an internal presentation, effective public speaking takes practice and poise. Earlier this month, Kellen account executives Alexandra Ozerkis and Robert Rankin shared some great tips and tricks to speak publicly with ease.
For starters, be sure to engage your audience (use eye contact, smiles, humor), outline planned topics up front, get them involved early (open with a question or a joke) and wherever possible, include relevant examples.
