Next time you’re at the drawing board brainstorming your next campaign theme, think in color. Creating an association between your cause and a simple theme, like a single color, helps to promote your platform by making it recognizable and easy to share. Use it everywhere to visually promote your campaign: in your branding, messaging and other promotions. Need proof? Color campaigns are already a part of our lives; see pink and think Komen’s Race for the Cure or wear red to raise awareness for the American Heart Association, especially during “Go Red for Women” in February. So don’t overdo it, steer clear of complexities and keep your message simple, but colorful.
