It’s common for staff, the board or committees to review the association’s website and other marketing communications materials. The one thing they all have in common is that they typically are intimately familiar with the industry they are in. While their opinion on materials can be extremely helpful, also consider getting a family member or friends to look at your website or other materials to see if they get what your organization does and the key messages or calls to action you’re attempting to communicate. Their feedback may surprise you and further help improve your outreach.
