As a way to drive membership, give your nonmember audiences a preview of your member benefits. Take a tip from the New York Times, and allow nonmembers to read the beginning of a report or article that’s hidden behind your members-only paywall. If they want to keep reading, they’ll have to join. Nonmembers will see what they are missing, understand that valuable, exclusive content is part of your membership benefits, and might consider joining.
