Yesterday we kicked off the Kellen Company Managers’ Summit in Atlanta. This three day conference gathers over one hundred of Kellen Company’s leaders for a conference where we can discuss the trends and challenges facing our clients. Each year we meet to share knowledge, broaden our skills and expand our experience. Our own colleagues are a tremendous resource.
Some of us have been in Atlanta all week, as we also attended the American Society of Association Executives Annual Meeting here. At both of these conferences, association professionals have had a chance to step back from their day-to-day activities to get a new perspective and think strategically about the challenges that face associations today. It’s an immensely valuable thing to take time to learn from one another. I encourage you to share your knowledge, ask questions and make learning a priority.
