Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday this year. Take advantage of the holiday by creating a special promotion targeted to your organization’s key stakeholders. Here’s a few examples you can easily implement in time for the 14th:
- Send THANKS FOR THE LOVE emails to members, sponsors, volunteers and/or donors. Personalize when possible and be sure to change your font to RED!
- Upload photos to your organization’s Facebook page of your favorite volunteers and add personal Valentine’s wishes (example: “Lots of love for organizing the successful walk-a-thon!”). If you don’t have a Facebook page, your website’s homepage will do.
- Conduct a SPREAD THE LOVE promotion! Give something away as an incentive for existing members to recruit potential ones. Example: Get a friend or colleague to join the organization on Valentine’s Day and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win Godiva chocolate!
