When hosting a webinar, make an introduction slide (not your presenter’s first slide) that will appear when individuals first connect. This slide should have session information such as the title and presenter, but should also include start time, information on webinar audio (will all participants be muted?), how/when to ask questions or how to indicate technical difficulties – if an attendee has a hard time hearing, for instance. This gives your participants all of the information they need, in advance, and cuts down on technical questions and any confusion.
