You’ve just completed the Board nominations process and you have a new volunteer President for the next two years. That probably also means you have a new President Elect. Don’t wait until the second year of the President’s term to begin the training and transition for the President Elect. To guarantee a smooth transition, start right after the initial nominations process by copying the President Elect on day to day communications and give him or her a major role or project related to the budget.
