Over 200 association executives gather for cutting-edge professional development
Atlanta, GA (October 4, 2016) – Over 200 association managers from across the world gathered recently at the annual Kellen Managers Summit for professional development, networking and team building. Kellen, a global leader in association and communications services with offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, has hosted the conference for the past 15 years.
This year’s Summit, which took place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta at the end of August, was the largest to date and brought together association executives from the company’s eight offices as well as vendor partners critical to the association industry. Over the course of three days, attendees participated in a series of educational workshops on key topics, such as international regulations, building social networking communities, increasing conference revenues, and tracking and measuring membership engagement, among many others.
“Each year we strive to bring more meaningful content, training sessions and opportunities for colleagues to collaborate so that we can ensure we are delivering the most innovative and efficient solutions for our clients,” said Peter Rush, CEO and chairman of Kellen. “This year’s conference was one of the most dynamic and comprehensive since we have been running them.”
In addition to over 40 interactive breakout workshops, department roundtables, human resources training modules and a vendor tradeshow, Kellen managers engaged in a leadership training program called Banding Together, a performance improvement experience that focuses on collaboration and the impact it makes on employees and corporate culture.
