Kellen EUROPE ORGANIZED ITS 8th Annual EuroConference

Brussels, Belgium (28 February 2008) -- Kellen Europe of Kellen Company, the premier global
“EuroConference 2008 was more interactive than ever with a plenary session followed by five break-out sessions,” said Alfons Westgeest, Kellen Europe managing partner and a Kellen group vice president. “The format created the ideal atmosphere for improving understanding while it also increased networking opportunities.”
Experienced speakers representing NGOs, European trade associations, Permanent Representations to the EU and corporations shared both best and worst practices providing a firm basis for discussion in the plenary session on “Challenges to Representation in Brussels.” The “Challenges” speakers included Daniel Karam of EICTA, the European Industry Association that is the voice of the Information and Communications Technology and Consumer Electronics industries in Europe; Goranka Gabric Kroselj from the Slovenian Permanent Representation to the European Union, Delia Villagrasa from WWF and Sylvian L’Hote from Boréalis.
Breakout session speakers included Thierry Dieu of ETNO, the leading trade association representing Europe’s 41 largest e-communications operators; Adrian Harris of Orgalime, the European Engineering Industries Association representing an industry employing more than 10 million people in the EU; Townsend Feehan of Microsoft; Jeffries Briginshaw of TransAtlantic Business Dialogue and Danielle Vermaelen of Ernst & Young.
