Kellen Company’s Eric Allen Named One Of 100 Most
Influential People In The Tradeshow Business
Atlanta, GA – July 1, 2008 – Kellen Company announced today that Eric Allen, vice president, has been named one of the top 100 most influential people in the exhibition business by Tradeshow Week magazine. Allen, who was recently elected vice chair of the Convention Industry Council (CIC), serves as the executive vice president for Kellen Company client, the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA). The honor underscores Kellen Company’s leadership role in the global tradeshow marketplace.
Tradeshow Week’s list is compiled by the magazine’s editors to recognize the industry’s leading professionals. Kellen Company currently manages over 300 meetings/events/tradeshows per year with 20 percent in non-U.S. locations through offices and representation in Europe, China, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia.
Allen has played an integral role as part of Kellen Company’s HCEA management team for 15 years, serving as executive vice president for the past nine years. Under his leadership, the association grew its membership to a record number of over 700, has broken attendance records at its annual meetings and launched a number of innovative services for members, including HCEA’s Online Directory of Healthcare Meetings & Conventions and landmark industry research.
"Under Eric's leadership, HCEA is doing a great job of responding to the needs of its members, just as the healthcare marketing world is entering a new era with new regulations,” said Michael Hart, editor-in-chief, Tradeshow Week. "Many association executives have said that they wish their organization was run as well as Allen's."
“It is a great honor to be recognized in this way,” said Allen. “It is a true testament to the talent, dedication and professionalism of the Kellen team, who continues to exceed client expectations and identify innovations that take these clients and their meetings and exhibitions to the next level.”
